About 12 years ago, I graduated from the university with 2.1 [2nd Class Upper] After my NYSC, I searched for a job but was never able to get a well paid job. Prince Orji Orizu, second son of the 1st Republic Senate President, late Abyssinia Orizu, has challenged a Catholic Reverend Fr. Chidozie Chilaka, aka 'Jesus Network,' over allegations that he (Orji), was responsible for the misfortunes of his uncle's wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Orizu and those of her children.Rev. Fr. Chilaka, an evangelist based in Isiala Mbano, Imo State, had allegedly called out one Mrs. Orizu, Prince Orji Orizu's uncle's wife, during his week-long crusade at Nigeria Science and Technical College, Nnewi and told her that she had been under a spell from Prince Orji Orizu.

The Mbaise-born priest allegedly told the woman that all her daughters' broken marriages were caused by the legal luminary, promising that he would nullify curses inflicted on them by the former first Republic Senate President's son.
But reacting to the allegation while addressing newsmen in his house in Nnewi, Prince Orji allegedly challenged the Reverend, saying,
 "any Nigerian, native doctor, any child or agent of a native doctor and anybody connected to any native doctor in or outside Nigeria who can say he had ever visited or patronized them, should come out and speak."
The infuriated Prince also urged the 'likes of such people who claim to have seen him in the house of any native doctor anywhere in or outside Nigeria, to speak out.

A famous monkey ,Naruto, has been denied the copyright to a series of selfies she took using a camera belonging to nature photographer David Slater. The decision was arrived at by a federal judge on Wednesday.
According to Ars Technica,PETA, as a representative for Naruto ,had brought the case against Slater , seeking monetary damages owed to the monkey for copyright infringement.
U.S. District Judge William Orrick ruled against PETA and the monkey and pointed to a declaration from the U.S. Copyright Office from 2014 that said works "produced by nature, animals, or plants" cannot be given copyright protection
That decision isn't necessarily final, though. The smiling macaque could reclaim her ownership if Congress decides to change copyright legislation.Orrick said.
"I'm not the person to weigh into this,"  "This is an issue for Congress and the president. If they think animals should have the right of copyright they're free, I think, under the Constitution, to do that."

It has just been reported that a Swiss Citizen by the name  Beatrice Stockly has been abducted in Northern Mali by unknown gunmen. 

This is not the first time Beatrice has been abducted as she was earlier kidnapped in April 2012 by militants but released followed the mediation efforts of the Burkina Faso authorities.

According to a source the said gunmen knocked on her door on Thursday night only to grab her right after she opened the door.

This is not the first time a foreigner has being kidnapped in the Country. In 2011 two foreigners from South Africa and Sweden were abducted and are still being held hostage by members of Al Qaeda.

A mysterious incident happened in Ondo state at the weekend when a police inspector named Usman Kadiri stationed at the Yaba Police division in Ondo state suddenly died in his sleep.


One of his colleagues who spoke on his sudden death, said; "Kadiri was in charge of traffic control. On that faithful night, he got a message from our headquarters in Akure that he has been promoted to the position of a station officer and we were all happy."

His colleagues further stated that he was in a happy mood on that night and celebrated his promotion with his colleagues and friends before everyone went to their various homes. He also left for his home which was like 2 poles to the station.

He narrated further that suddenly they heard a noise from the new inspector's home in the wee hours of the following morning that Kadiri died in his sleep.

His sudden death was said to have caused commotion in the station that day. Now all other police officers are said to be afraid to take up the position he left.

Three other police officers were penciled to take up the position but they all rejected it.

All available players took part in the team's final workout ahead of Saturday's match at Camp Nou

FC Barcelona completed their final training session on Friday before Saturday's La Liga clash with visiting Granada. The players trained on Tito Vilanova Field at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The session was open to the media for the first 15 minutes. Following the workout head coach Luis Enrique spoke to the media to discuss the game, set for Saturday at 4.00pm CET at Camp Nou.

The match against Granada comes amidst FC Barcelona's two-match Copa del Rey tie with Espanyol. Barça won the first leg 4–1 on Wednesday at Camp Nou, while the second leg comes this Wednesday at RCDE Stadium.

In Friday's training session FC Barcelona's players and coaches sported the team's new collection of workout attire.

Pop music star and RnB singer Iyanya seems to have called it quits with his girlfriend Freda Francis. The 'Kukere' singer for the best of 2015 was in a relationship with Freda Francis. Even though they never declared their relationship publicly, the pair was seen at public events together on numerous occasions.


Let's not forget that Iyanya shared several pictures of him with his girlfriend who is a skin care specialist on Instagram. Freda Francis also did the same. Recall that in 2015, there story seemed one of the best celebrity love story and it is sad that it has come to an end. Iyanya has reportedly unfollowed Freda Francis on Instagram.

He has also deleted her pictures on his Instagram account. I guess celebrity relationships not marriage, never last long. I sincerely hope this turns out to be just a rumor because i wanted both of them to work out.

Following the new case of Lassa Fever in Rivers State the Commissioner for Health in Rivers State, Dr. Odagine Theophilus, says there is nothing to worry about regarding the reported outbreak of Lassa fever in the state.

The Commissioner who was interviewed earlier today discussed the outbreak of Lassa Fever and the efforts by the state government to curb its spread. He said that the state government was "taking care" of the primary health centre where the first case was managed and had finished burying the victims according to guidelines for managing the bodies of those who died from Lassa fever and other haemorrhage diseases.
"The hospital and the morgue have been decontaminated, the family house of the patient has been decontaminated " he said during the interview.
There had been questions as to how the disease could have spread to Rivers State considering its distance to Taraba State where the case was last reported, but Dr. Theophilus said that all efforts to link the Rivers case to Taraba was not successful.
The Commissioner admitted that this is not the first case of Lassa fever in the state as two case were recorded same time in the previous year. He, however allayed fears that there might be more cases yet to be discovered.
